What’s in this course:
First Game of Class
Large group.
A physical game to warm up your body and mind. Usually involves working as an ensemble or team, these games often form the basis of character generation which creates empathy - an essential component of acting (and life!)
Second Game
Large/small group.
Usually is a workout in smaller groups or pairs. It helps to trigger strong emotions in a playful scenario. Play is what strengthens acting muscles and helps to increase your presence in the moment.
Third Game
Large/small group.
This section will have you thinking on your feet and switching from one game to the next, fast. This is a busy, energised class with a lot of interaction.
The Fourth and Fifth Games tend to be text-based, starting with monologues and transitioning into actual scenes.
